Well I've had the white face gauges overlays for about 2 months now. Just never installed them. But to be honest, I'm scared to death!!!! After reading all the horror stories of the people who have did it and broke needles, and mis-ailigned needles or needles sticking and not working properly. Blaghh.. all that's enough not to do it. What to do guys? What to do. Risk it and go for it or play it safe and leave it all alone? I went to twinturbo.org and printed up the instructions on how to nstall the APC gauges, and will use that to take the housing out. But what about needles? When pulling off the head of the needle, do I want to hold onto the shaft of the needle being careful not to pull the shaft of the needle out of its place? And before removing the needles I want to let my car run for a couple of minutes then mark on a piece of paper where all the needles are pointing too? then turn it off and remove the needles? Then after everythings done, re-start the car let it run for a couple minutes then replace the needles according to where I marked them on the paper? Blaghhh guys, advice please!
